El Jaripeo - Culpeper

This restaurant is conveniently located just down the street from Culpeper Hospital. The food was outstanding, the service was attentive, and the prices were reasonable. I will definitely return!

This was our first visit to this restaurant. I dropped off my truck at Battlefield for an oil change and my wife picked me up for a dinner date. As soon as we walked in, we felt very welcome. They offered unlimited chips and salsa, which was great. We shared a quesadilla and still had some left over. I enjoyed a Corona Rita while my wife had water with lemon. We spent only $26 and had far more food than we could finish, so they provided us with a to-go box. We will definitely be back. It’s an awesome restaurant. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

The food is fantastic, and I especially love the chips and salsa. However, they don’t always have the drinks I want, which can be disappointing when I’m really craving something specific. Overall, it’s a great spot with friendly staff, perfect for hanging out with friends.

Terrible staff. I went last night and was made fun of the way I look by all the wait staff. They spoke in Spanish (which I understand). The host kept laughing at me even though I asked him what his problem was. We used to be regular customers and wewill never return. Even the manager was involved in this behavior. It was so bad, we left before ordering any food. I didcomplain, but it did not good since they all as a group did this to me. If you choose to eat there, make sure you canunderstand Spanish because I?m sure I?m not the first one they have made fun of. Also, by someone else?s post, be careful ofthe roaches. If you sit in the area near the bathrooms, enjoy the sewage backup stench.

Best Mexican food in town. We called ahead to make a reservation for our family, we arrived and our table was ready the waitress gave us great service, she was friendly and very patient since we had little one. The food was awesome and so were the drinks.Great place for family gatherings. I'd definitely recommend.
