Bidrage med feedbackA small yet cozy place, with excellent cuisine; mainly Mexican-Italian fusion. Starting with their bread up until dessert, everything was Superb! We loved it.
Nice place , very busy. We arrived 20' late because of traffic and our table was gone. We were offered a table on the sidewalk that was nice. Service was very good and the explanation of the plates by the waiters was impressive.
Me and husband were in Mexico City and we had made a reservation for this restaurant. First up, the setting is absolutely lovely - set in a townhouse with tables sprawled on all the floors. I am not sure whether they had an elevator, but for those whose mobility is impaired, it would be worth looking into whether it is just the ground floor that is accessible. The decor is very pretty and it was a great place for a dinner date. The food was very good. We had a pasta dish to start, which the waiter had previously suggested we should get a half portion. I'm glad we did, because that left space for dessert! Food tasted fresh and very good. We chose a Mexican wine from a long list of wines and were not disappointed. The only slight drawback was the overattentive service. Our dinner felt rushed because the place was so over-staffed with courteous and well-mannered waiters. Whilst this is fundamentally not a bad thing, it did feel like we would have enjoyed the night a bit more had we spent longer between courses. Having said that, I loved how they swept the table of crumbs into a silver bowl after the main! For dinner in Mexico City, it is quite pricey. However, we knew that when we booked it.Will definitely recommend it to friends who visit DF!
The food here was very good and the wait staff was very attentive. Almost too attentive, as it felt like they were constantly shuffling plates around and rearranging the table. It wasn't that we felt pressured to eat quickly; it was more so that we felt they were trying to overly impress with their formal presentation. It is a good meal, worth going if you are considering it, but not relaxing! They could learn something from Rosetta panderia which is nearby and one of the best panderia's we visited
Went to Mexico City for tourism and visiting family. Picked some restaurants based on recommendations from several restaurant blogs. The restaurant is on Polanco, a very nice neighborhood. It has limited number of tables to sit inside and outdoor too. Since we didn't have a reservation we sit outdoor for dinner, a little uncomfortable with mosquito bites. The waitress was "nice" but seem they are trained to push you to order the most expensive options from the menu either drinks and food, it gets annoyed at some point after you start ordering and you keep getting the "waitress recommendations" over and over. Honestly this place is OVERRATED, the food was not impressive at all and only expensive. I heard the same owner opened "Panadería Rosetta" which they recommend it for breakfast , but after being disappointed with this one we decided to skip it. There are too many better options to eat in Mexico City other than Rosetta.
