Wen's Noodle And Ramen Guò Qiáo Mǐ Xiàn

I visited the restaurant with my family for lunch, and overall, we enjoyed the food. However, I had an unfortunate experience when I was paying the bill. The waitress confronted me about the tip I left. I’m not typically someone who is stingy, but I'm currently facing some financial difficulties, so I left a smaller tip than what was suggested. She addressed this in front of everyone, which made me feel very uncomfortable. I wish I could have given more, but it just wasn't possible.

Our first visit was disappointing as the food was cold and our drinks came warm without any ice. We decided to give the restaurant another chance, but unfortunately, the ramen lacked flavor again. I had to add a lot of sriracha and other condiments just to get some taste. To make matters worse, our waitress automatically included an 18% tip without offering us a choice. It was just a table for two, which seemed odd. When we brought it up, she was clearly aware that it was wrong, indicating it was intentional. This was especially troubling since the food was subpar and she didn’t make an effort to improve our experience.

The waitress was extremely friendly, and while the food was quite salty, it was also incredibly delicious with great flavor. The meat in the Tonkatsu ramen was perfectly braised, and the calamari was crispy and had a strong salty taste. I highly recommend this place!

Only one waiter and inside is very dirty, waiter does not have a time for cleaning and service. No toilet and service, everything old, waiter do not speak english well.

This place totally missed the flavor train… the fried chicken in the curry dish was not only not crunchy, but was bland. The tonkatsu ramen looked delicious but lacked the bone-y flavor one should get from this soup. The char siu in the ramen was cold and probably could’ve used a quick sear to get some flavor. The gyoza was also lacking. Crunchy on the outside with little filling. Overall have it 2 stars for good and quick service and springy (the good kind) noodles in the ramen.Don’t think I will be coming back or recommending the place.
