Sam's Hot Dogs - Cross Lanes

Closes at 5 on Thursdays not 7 waste of time through traffic

Got 2 hot dogs from the Sam's location in Cross Lanes a few days ago. Normally love Sam's, but this time they were pretty much inedible. They were out of the English buns, , what little sauce was on them tasted old burnt, asked for onions, there were none, they must have been low on mustard, because I could barely taste any!!! Very disappointing!!!!!

It used to be really good, but it has declined in quality. The restaurant feels like an afterthought now. However, the woman who usually manages it is very friendly and personable.

I used to frequent the Sam's near Capital High on Greenbrier St, but it recently closed down. Last week, I had a craving for hotdogs and decided to visit the closest location, which is in Malden. The staff there really knows how to make a fantastic hotdog! The frank was cooked to perfection, the bun was steamed and soft, the chili was generous, and the coleslaw was cold and delicious. For me, that's the ideal hotdog. The messier, the better! LOL If you're ever in the mood for a hotdog, make sure to check out these ladies; they'll treat you right.

I'm a big fan of chili dogs and decided to try the two Sam dogs at the Pennsylvania Avenue location. Unfortunately, the hot dogs were quite thin, the chili lacked flavor, and there was hardly any mustard. The restaurant is located inside a somewhat questionable convenience store, which added to my disappointment. Overall, it wasn't a good experience!
