The Thirsty Turtle - Cranford

The appetizer menu and bar are lovely, but I had to deduct a star for the dining area. Its odd design doesn't contribute positively to the experience, but it is what it is. If you can snag a seat at the bar, you should be just fine.

I absolutely love the servers and the food at this restaurant. My daughters really enjoy dining here. The ambiance is relaxed, and they offer fantastic beer!

I love this place! There are plenty of paid parking, friendly staff and good food.

Ordered guacamole and chips with drinks at happy hour. Good portion of guacamole, but only a handful of chips. When we asked for more chips, waitress said she had to charge $3, restaurant policy. Seems pretty petty, nickel and diming customers. Otherwise good environment and great selection of beers on tap.

First, I would like to mention that I love that they have gluten free options. I didn?t order it but I did hear the bartender mention that they also have a gluten free cookie Sunday. We ordered the spinach dip, the flavor was good but it definitely could have been warmer. For my entree I ordered a side of broccoli, mashed potatoes and French onion soup without the croutons (gluten free and it was delicious! My boyfriend ordered the Pork Tenderloin, it came with broccoli and mashed potatoes and he really enjoyed it (although it too, was not quite as warm as it should have been with all of that said, the foods flavor was amazing, you could tell that there are fresh herbs being used in their dishes, and even thought the food wasn?t as hot as it should be I do recommend the place. It could have been something as simple as being short staffed. Update?. We came back for a second time, and the food was hot and delicious :
