Great sushi and best happy hour ever! Cocktails for $4

Really disappointed on our last visit to Sake Cafe. Our food took FOREVER to come out, we ended up having to cancel our order. We ordered at 6p, and cancelled at 6:45, food didn’t seem like it was close to being ready. Also, please update your public facing messaging on happy hour, which now ends at 5:30, not 6.

The cherry blossom roll is alright, little too limey/salty for my palate. The tuna tataki is good but not great, just something is missing, and a little fishy taste, need to be a little more tender and think perhaps would be better if with the Japanese yam pairing. And the steak of squid has the best presentation with sizzle and drizzle, just do the splashing a little farther away, as occasional splatters were landing on legs and arm, they burn slightly from the heat. Quit simply, Sake Cafe was an easy walk to our B&B. The stuffed jalapenos were a great appetiser. It paired really well with the teriyaki Salmon main dish.

We ended up getting the Philadelphia roll smoked salmon roll and one of the specialty rolls that I cannot remember the name of also got fried cheesecake for appetizers we had chicken spring rolls, fried goat cheese, and the tuna tataki. All tasted fresh. Everything was reasonably priced some of the best sushi that I've had and I've had sushi All over America and also in Japan. I have to say if you want really good sushi for a good price that tastes fresh I would definitely recommend this place … – show
