Bidrage med feedbackWe dined here tonight and it was truly disappointing. If I could, I would give it zero stars. The pizza was cold, we felt overwhelmed with the lack of service, and there was no sauce on anything. When we inquired about the meatballs, we believe we were served ground beef instead. The food quality was lacking, and the portion sizes were inadequate. It’s unfortunate because this restaurant used to be really good. We won’t be returning, especially since they charge high prices but fail to provide the expected quality or quantity of food.
My daughter and I initially stopped by for a quick snack, but the gentleman at the Jeremy counter was so friendly and accommodating that we chose to sit down for a proper lunch instead. We ordered the soup, enjoyed hot fresh bread with butter, and shared a pizza—all of it was delicious. We came for the food, but ended up staying because of the outstanding customer service. We'll definitely be back!
Unfortunately, this pizza place is not what it used to be years ago. It seems to be under new management now. The pizza is far from the authentic New York style. You can clearly taste the pre-packaged sauce, and the cheese lacks quality and is overly generous on the pizza. The dough is too soft and lacks substance; it seems to be poorly fermented.
I just stopped, was informed that I am now REQUIRED to pay my phone number for a take-out order. Previous big pizza place. The last two cakes were sub par. Now that my personal information is required to order a cake, I will not be back.
I 've been going to the New York Pizza Department for many years, it was once, one of the best overall family dining experiences here in Corona. However that is no longer true. The food itself is still fairly good, (which is why I gave ?? but the quality, overall customer service and attention to detail are no longer present. I was told that NYPD ownership recently changed; but it seems not for the better. It seems they believe that they can take a once great establishment and just ignore what once made it great. I have not dined in NYPD in some time since we usually just order their takeout pizza. However on my last visit my wife, and I decided to eat there. As we entered NYPD, we were told to sit outside because service dogs were not allowed. I told him that I was a disabled veteran and that my service dog was completely legit and we have never been asked to sit outside. I didn 't want to make a bigger deal about it so I agreed. Once we entered the patio we noticed lots of trash and the tables were all filthy, like they had not been cleaned in some time. The server cleaned up our table a bit and he apologized for the mess in the patio. I asked for the manager, who came out and apologized for the mess and for forcing us to sit outside with my service dog. He also informed me that the new owners adopted new rules for service dogs in the business. The remainder of the meal was ok but the service staff did their best to make us more comfortable, considering we were sitting in a filthy patio with a very clean and compliant service dog. Unfortunately I will no longer go to or do business with this establishment because of the non informed and unconcerned attitude of ownership. Hope they read this and also make themselves aware that they are in violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA . Under the ADA, State and local governments, businesses, and nonprofit organizations that serve the public generally must allow service animals to accompany people with disabilities in all areas of the facility where the public is allowed to go.
