Joe's Old School Pizza - Coral Gables

Pizza is decent, typical New York style paper-thin slices. The other menu items are quite good. A little pricey, but that's not unusual for the area at all. Limited seating inside, and only a couple small tables outside. Plenty of parking right outside.

First, the amount of toppings was very disappointing; it felt like they barely added any. The pizza didn’t taste freshly baked; it seemed more like a cheese pizza taken from the display case with the toppings just added and then reheated. We also ordered cheesy garlic bread, but the person who took my order didn’t understand what I meant. She seemed completely lost when I tried to place that order, asking if I wanted garlic bread with cheese on top. When we picked up our order, we found that it was just regular garlic bread, which was stale and not fresh at all. We also hoped to get some Italian ices, as advertised on your website, and planned to ask about the flavors. However, when we arrived, we were informed that they no longer have it on the menu, despite a large sign on the drink refrigerator that listed Italian ices. This is poor business practice, and if it’s no longer available, it should be removed from the menu both in the restaurant and online. The same goes for the cheesy garlic bread; if they don’t know what it is, it shouldn’t be part of the offerings. To top it all off, when I called initially, no one answered the phone for over five minutes. I had to hang up, wait, and then call back. Overall, yesterday's experience at Joe’s was extremely disappointing!

Fantastic pizza! If you haven't tried it, you're missing out!

This is by far the best new yorker pizza that I had in miami (or elsewhere for this occasion.) with chicagos lou malnatis deep tellerpizza this is the best pizza I have eaten in a very long time. the crust is buttery and delicious, the sauce is perfect (I think they have changed the recipe; the first few paintings I tried to find the sose too sweet, but now it is fantastic,) and the cheese is always fresh and aplenty. my daughter is obsessed with joes pizza and we get it at least once a week. so good!

This place is great. Best pizza in Miami. Better than Miami's best and cozy and friendly. You know what they do and it shows. If it's pizza, you want it to taste as if you were in NYC, don't go any further.
