Waffle House - Cookeville

I stopped for breakfast on my way home from Nashville, TN, and I had the All-Star breakfast, which included eggs, grits, sausage, toast, and waffles. It was a delicious meal, reasonably priced, and conveniently located near Interstate 40, making it easy to eat and get back on the road.

I'm not giving this place five stars for the food because, let's be honest, it's Waffle House. If you haven't been, you're not missing much. It's a go-to spot for late-night cravings, a rough night, or when you're trying to sober up and nothing else is open. I really admire how this restaurant kept serving customers throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, and I'll always appreciate that dedication.

My son and I decided to stop in for a late meal, like many others do. We chose the perfect time; there were three tables in front of us and three behind us. The cook and waitress communicated well to ensure our order was correct. The service we received was fantastic! Well done!

My husband and I went out for breakfast, and I must say, Deborah was fantastic! She did an amazing job, especially considering how busy it was!

Great service! I had a wonderful chat with the waitress! The kids really enjoyed their waffles. We'll definitely be returning.
