TGI FRIDAYS - Concord (NC)

I usually avoid writing negative reviews, but my experience at this restaurant was truly disappointing. The bar area was messy, with dirty napkins and orange garnishes scattered on the floor during our entire visit. The food was below average, and the service was frustratingly slow; our server kept apologizing for mistakes from the kitchen, like overcooked steaks. By the time our children's meals finally arrived, other nearby tables had already finished eating, leaving them visibly upset. I sympathized with our server, who had to bring the manager over to discuss the poor quality of the food and explain that the kitchen was understaffed. Although they attempted to make up for it by comping a wrong appetizer and offering a discount on our steaks, the overall experience was still disappointing and far from enjoyable.

I visited Friday's near Concord Mills with my cousin and had Monique as our server. She was fantastic, displaying a helpful and positive attitude throughout our meal. When I wasn't completely satisfied with my order, she quickly resolved the issue without hesitation and even went the extra mile to make it special. Monique was an excellent server, and I will definitely return to see her again!

I was promptly seated at a beautifully decorated table, but it took nearly an hour for my food to arrive. The waitress only came by my table twice during the entire meal.

Our seating location, right by the kitchen and drink stand, really detracted from our experience. It was messy and unappealing, which made it hard to enjoy our meal. While the service and food were satisfactory, the seating left much to be desired.

The tables were dirty, and the air conditioning ducts had leaks. The advertisements were misleading when it came to the appetizers. Furthermore, the food was overpriced considering the portion sizes. For instance, I was served three small chicken cutlets, roughly the size of a half dollar, along with mashed potatoes for $15.
