Asda Cafe - Colchester

Table wasn't clean coffee so strong never no more . shame .they need to step up in there Restaurant .

Had £5 lunch deal. Toasted sandwich ham and cheese they only toast one side so top was barely toasted and other side just a soggy piece of white bread Chips cold rubbery had obviously been cooked for some time Coffee fine Service great very helpful and cheerful lady on till

We had to wait 20 minutes in line, even though the restaurant wasn't very busy. When we finally got our breakfast, it was disappointing - the portions were very small, almost like children's sizes. Although I was glad I didn't waste more money, I will not be coming back here. The prices were too high for the low quality of the food.

Was served by tracy, fantastic customer service, not an easy lunchtime with lots of customers, staff pleasant and helpful just ask!

My experience at Asda Cafe was disappointing. The service was slow, with the chef more focused on chatting than actually preparing the breakfast. There were others in line before and after us, and it took nearly 10 minutes to serve our meal. The black pudding was forgotten, and when mentioned, the chef said they only make a certain amount a day to avoid wastage. When I asked for a white coffee, I was told they only sell lattes, cappuccinos, or Americanos. The food was mediocre, with rubbery black pudding, lukewarm sausages, and oddly cooked eggs. The portion size was decent, but not worth the price of £6.40. Overall, the service and food quality were lacking, and I would recommend going to a different cafe in the area for a better experience. The coffee was decent once I added my own milk, but I will be choosing Costa for future visits while getting my car cleaned.
