Cantinho dos Reis - Coimbra

We came to this restaurant last night and they were packed so we couldn’t get a table. This afternoon we walked by and made a reservation for tonight and now we know why this place is so popular. The food here is amazing. This does not seem like a touristy place. I think a lot of locals eat here. Very pleasant outdoor dining in a lovely square. Our waiter was very friendly, funny, and accommodating. If you are in Coimbra this restaurant is not to be missed.

First restaurant we saw coming from the river. It looked authentic. The service was friendly but the food had or too much salt or too few. Picanha was good though. In general, nothing special.

We shared a steak which was grilled very well. The place was packed with locals and the staff very kind. Definitely a good place to taste the local food for a very good price.

Restaurante com várias salas, vários pratos, preços acessíveis, empregados e gerente simpáticos. Ideal para almoços ou jantares de convívio.
