Island Tyme - Cocoa Beach

I’m so disappointed we didn’t discover this place sooner! I had no idea this hidden gem was right here in Cocoa Beach! A neighbor recommended we check it out, and we’re so glad we did. Unfortunately, we only made it on our last night in town for a drink. You wouldn't expect what’s behind those front doors! The restaurant offers beautiful waterfront views of the river and features open outdoor seating across two levels, alongside a large indoor bar and dining area. The bar is adorned with great historic memorabilia related to Cocoa Beach. There were also cornhole boards and other outdoor games set up. I can't wait to return the next time we’re in town!

If I could give this place a zero, I would. The food was below average, and the service was atrocious. The bartender was snappy and rude. To top it off, we witnessed a chaotic scene where the intoxicated manager was yelling and cursing at a customer. I strongly recommend staying away from this establishment.

We visited this restaurant while exploring Cocoa Beach, and it turned out to be a fantastic choice! As we were driving, we wanted to find a place with nice deck seating and a view of the water, and this spot fit the bill perfectly. The back area and the upper floors are absolutely stunning, featuring a variety of seating options, vibrant decor, and some activities in the backyard. It's a wonderful place to enjoy the sunset. Our waitress was attentive and very friendly, which was a plus. However, the food was just okay. I ordered fish tacos, but I personally found them a bit over-seasoned for my liking. I believe that fresh fish should be the star of the dish, and with all the salt and seasoning, it didn't really taste like fish. But that's just my preference. I would definitely return for drinks and to soak in the beautiful view!

Don't go on Monday. Actually don't go at all. Good location, poor service, fish is frozen from Sysco. The service here was some of the worst I've seen in a while. The manager needs to put down the cigarettes and pay attention to the terrible service. Won't be going back.

Always greeted by the staff even if don't stop for months. Great staff and pet friendly.
