My visit today was a three-star experience or even less, but I decided to give four stars because this location is usually excellent. It seemed like they were training a lot of new staff, as many of them didn't appear to know what they were doing. I ordered two items, including a sandwich, but when I got home, the only thing that was correct was my drink. The food was also overly salty. Although this is the first time I've had a disappointing experience there and it seemed like they were still in training, I’m willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. They have completely renovated the place; the outside is nice and a bit eclectic. The interior is decent, but they’ve made changes due to COVID, spacing out the tables by six feet. It feels a bit empty, but that might just be because I’m more accustomed to the previous ambiance. Overall, I would recommend trying Sonic if you're in the area.
The staff was quick and friendly. I ordered some onion rings, and they were fresh and hot, just the way I like them.
First Sonic I was there where you could eat inside. The food was good the help was friendly and they even delivered our order to our table all in a very good experience!
The service was pretty quick and our orders were correct. The person originally taking our order, while not rude, was not entirely friendly either. Midway through our order, the person taking our order suddenly switched with no explanation or even introduction of the new voice. There could be plenty of good reasons for employees to switch mid order, however since no explanation, introduction, or anything else was given, I have to assume that she got annoyed with us. She certainly sounded annoyed. We were giving her our orders as quickly and succinctly as possible, but there are five of us so it does take a little longer to order for all of us. I could understand the problem more if we were all asking for different tickets or really complicated orders. But, this was not the case. Our orders were pretty average and straight forward. (I base this on my own experiences from working fast food. So I feel like while service was decent, customer relations could use some improvement.
