Primo African Quisine - Cleveland

Do not make a reservation at this restaurant, as it is no longer in business. I'm confused about how OpenTable allowed a reservation for a restaurant that is closed. We had theater tickets that night and had to scramble to find another place to eat before the show, which was quite challenging.

When we visited, the restaurant was completely empty, which felt unusual. However, the food was incredible. Although the service was a bit slow, we were satisfied with our experience overall.

I visited this restaurant with my best friend for dinner, and we had an excellent experience. There was only one server, but she handled three tables and some customers at the bar with impressive skill. The food was fantastic – I especially enjoyed the lamb chops, and the pepper stew was delicious. There was also an abundance of Fufu, and the portion sizes were generous. The drinks were enjoyable and visually appealing; the Impress Me cocktail was particularly tasty and really caught the eye. I definitely plan to return; we had a great time, and there was even a small dance floor!

My daughter and I are foodies so dine out often. My close friends are African and have ate many authentic African dishes and always a positive experience. My daughter was served cold lamb stew on a 35 degree night. My food tasted frozen then microwaved. My glass of wine was old, spoiled. I literally took one sip and did not touch the glass the server was nice enough but said sorry have to charge you. I was charged $14 for a horrible glass of wine that In didn’t drink. I was charged $28 for cold land stew for my child. I was required to pay 20% gratuity for a party of two one adult one child. I heard the owner was present never v walked the tables only engaged with staff and one woman at C bar. Very disappointed. Do not plan to dine again. My daughter had been asking for African cuisine even the creme brûlée disappointing. I paid full price for all but not happy about it.
