Star Cafe - Clearfield

My go-to breakfast place! Star country platter is a must! I ordered chopped jalapeno to go along with it (if you like spicy, do mix with it), it’s soooo good! Country fried steak eggs greatness Scones and crepes are very delicious!

My son and I have not been back to star cafe since 2017. Now Star cafe have 3 new owners. My son have double bacon buger and I have Hawaiian Burger.

I love trying new places and was interested in the Star Cafe. They have a big menu with lots of very popular dishes. The service was quick and attentive. A calm atmosphere. But the food just didn't live up to standards. We got an appetizer of pot stickers with two bowls of chicken noodle soup. The soup was amazing and the pot stickers were ok. Orange chicken and a chicken fettuccine for our main dishes. The first bite of both dishes and they just tasted weird. The orange chicken lacked flavor and was very chewy. The fettuccine was awful. I don't know what they did to it.

This diner style restaurant is open on Christmas. Serving all your favorite breakfast, lunch and dinner meals. Open until 2. Great service and excellent food with good size portions. Definitely worth the visit. Enjoy

I had the two-egg omelette, and I was really pleased with the portion size—everything tasted fantastic! I want to give a special shoutout to the waitress who brought me a cup of their country gravy to go with the home fries. Thank you! The new ownership has completely changed my perspective on this place. A few years ago, the previous owners didn't seem to care, and it showed. I didn't come back for several years due to one bad experience. Now, I'm excited to return and try more items from the menu. Keep up the great work!
