Oni Sushi - Claremont

The sushi was very good! The staff working the sushi bar were very nice giving me suggestions. The fish was incredibly soft and fresh. Very chill environment. Definitely going back!

Food was meh kinda tasted like they went to 7/11 and transferred the sushi to a diffrent plate, greenbeans tated frozen and old, water was not filtered, miso soup was salty and tatsed weird the seaweed was off and tofu was old but the seats and staff were nice also looked clean even the bathrooms. Unfortunately when I come to a sushi spot I would expect the sashimi to taste decent but next time I would just stick to rolls as the one i got was actually pretty good but I came for the sashimi plate and it was way below unsatisfactory and had my stomach rumbling. If you enjoy rolls and are not huge on quality of fish this is a great spot.

Solid sushi, everyone in our party enjoyed their roles. Miso soup was nice and hot. Worth giving a try!

Food is great. Prices are fair especially for the rolls I think they are very nicely priced and they put a good amount of fish in them. Service is hot or miss but that can be said for any place. It’s very clean inside and overall had a great experience. Been here a few times both done in and take out. Take out was super easy and quick. I will be coming back.

Great spot. Food is delicious, everything tastes fresh. Place is clean. Friendly, attentive staff. Great vibe.
