Fort Mitchell Public House - Cincinnati

Cozy restaurant with good food and good service. My husband had the Nashville Hot Chicken Wrap and I had the Ham and Swiss Melt. Both were really good! The melt came on a pretzel roll with honey dijon that made this sandwich stand out! Our service was fast and friendly and the prices were reasonable. They have a nice patio area for when the weather is warmer.

Its a great restaurant and bar though I don't drink the food is good I had a big hamburger and fries come with it it's a little expensive. The waitress was nice and kept checking on me to see if I wanted anything else it's wooden tables and bar which I like but you can also sit outside they have tables out there also it's a great atmosphere and it's not that expensive for the size of the hamburger and the taste like l always say try it for yourself and see what you think

Patio and atmosphere were great. We were seated quickly. For being the cocktail at the top of the menu, the Old Fashioned was surprisingly terrible. I’ve had a number of poorly made Old Fashioned’s, but I did send this one back. The appetizers were excellent (pretzels and corn fritters). I ordered the Cajun bourbon filet tips, which was a mistake. I would go back, but I can’t say I would try anything past a beer and a burger.

The chicken wrap was a bit disappointing. It contained only a small amount of roasted chicken, a few pieces of cabbage, and minimal cheese. I’d recommend enhancing the ingredients—especially increasing the amount of cabbage for a satisfying crunch—and marinating the chicken in sauce before wrapping it up. Serving it with a side of ranch or blue cheese would elevate it further. As it was, the flavor didn’t impress, and it didn’t have the heat one might expect given its name. The Italian sub was decent but had too much bread compared to the filling, throwing off the overall balance. The Saratoga chips were quite good, though. Perhaps we just chose the wrong items on the menu, as many other reviewers have praised the food. It sounds like this place has improved a lot recently, according to some local diners I spoke with.

Service was great even though the place was busy. Pretzel bread appetizer was really good. Fish and chips was good. Fries were very tasty. Fish tacos were okay.. Super spicy but not bad.
