Bidrage med feedbackIf you're looking for a casual lunch spot, this is the place to go. Everyone is super friendly and the food was amazing. Best Thai food in the Chino areaMake sure you bring cash to exchange for tokens.
Temple seems very small but seems like they are currently under construction so areas are blocked off. On Sundays they have a food market! It was sooo great! I came on a rainy day so I didn't stay to eat there. I bought food and took it all home but it was worth it! Almost everything I got was so yummy!! The only thing that was NOT good was some papaya salad I bought. It was Laos style but it didn't taste like papaya salad at all. Luckily when we brought it home my sister in law was able to save it. We had to make a whole new sauce for it. Everything else was good. I got kapoon with chicken feet, sausages, beef salad, mango with sticky rice, and Thai tea. And the sellers were so sweet and funny! This was such a great experience. I will definitely be coming again! Also, they are dog friendly, a PLUS in my book, so my little Pomeranian was able to walk around with me!
Lot needs to be done to maintain this place . I was not sure on the food court or the shops and got lost on Sunday’s . They need to follow the traditions teachings or Buddha and not copy others .
MUST TRY !!!! This was the highlight of my SoCal trip. If I lived closer, I'd be there every week !! Seriously... you have to try this place ! The food is so authentic and it tastes just like home.It looks like the temple is still under renovation. Parking looked a little chaotic so my friends and I parked on the street. When you walk in, you'll see stands where you exchange your cash to tokens. The two people working this stand were so nice, friendly and funny. The good thing is if you don't use all your tokens then you can come back and exchange it back to cash. So you're not out of money if you exchange too much. My cousin and I exchanged $80 for the both of us and used about $50 but we ordered A LOT of food.Their entrees are aboout $7 each. I believe drinks are about $5 and then they have little snacks and stuff that varied in price. When I tell you my cousin and I ordered so much food and we enjoyed EVERY SINGLE THING. It's the absolute truth !! We really did and we still talk about how AMAZING the food was at this temple. The only downside was that some of the food is not warm like the curry. Other than that, there is ample seating but please note it is outdoors. Also, when I went the stir fry noodle stand was not there. So I didn't get to try their Pad Thai, drunken noodles, etc which was a bit disappointing but all the other food made up for it.Noodle Soups I Ordered (10000/5): Tom Yum Soup and Boat Noodles. Both were so good. The portion is a bit small, but this was a good thing because I had so much more to try. This was my first time ever trying boat noodles and my gawshhh, it was DELICIOUS. This was also the best Tom Yum Noodle soup I've ever had !! Best believe, when I come back, I'm getting both of these again ! They also gave out samples of the Spicy Noodle Soup which was really good as well. It reminded me of Kasoy. It was actually pretty spicy, and I was really tempted to order it, but next time !Thai Sausage (5/5): I honestly did not think these sausages would be this good just because they didn't look super appetizing. I'm a huge fan of Lao sausage and my grandma's homemade mien sausage so I'm very familiar with the flavors and what good quality tastes like. Let me just tell you... these sausages were sooo good! I believe it was just $5 and it had a perfect amount of spice. Literally jampacked with a whole bunch of flavors!! Don't be fooled by how it looks, it's really good ! This was the best sausages I've ever purchased. It came very close to my grandma's!Nam Khao (5/5): The food just keeps getting better and better ! This took about 10 mins to make, but it was worth it. However, it was sooo SPICY and sour. I didn't ask for spicy or any spice level. So be warned, if you do order it, I would ask if they can adjust the spice level. I LOVEEE spicy food so my tolerance is pretty high and it was spicy for me. My friends and cousin were not able to enjoy it as much because of how spicy it was.Curries(4/5): I ordered two types of curry. One was in the tin cup and that was really good. You could tell it was well seasoned. It had so much flavor, but it was cold. The second curry I ordered was the fish curry and that was warm. They also give you noodles to eat with the curry.Taro Coconut Rice Wrapped in Banana Leaf (5/5): I'm not quite sure what this was called, but it was really good. It's a bit charred, but that added to the flavor. It's not sweet, but it was really good. It's a bit messy, since it's so sticky but super enjoyable !Thai Tea (5/5): I love thai tea and this sufficed my cravings. It was cold and delicious. It was a must needed cool down after eating the the Nam Khao.Cendol (10/5): Mmmmm, this was the perfect dessert ! They offered me a cup of ice to make it cold which I greatly appreciated. It's pretty sweet so I did let the ice melt a little. Once the ice slightly melted and the drink got cold, it was so delicious. My friends and I loved it !As you can tell, I had a wonderful experi
What a lovely place. Got pork noodles, fried oysters, sticky rice and a coconut drink. It was amazing. People were very friendly. Live music, so many fun places to sit and enjoy the food.
