Genkai Sushi Asian Cuisine - Chico

Loved it, a big variety of sushi, raw, cooked, it was delicious, gyoza was so tender and flavorful, although the dont have takoyaki, but overall great!

We haven't been here for more than 10 years, but we've been in a mood. So glad we did!! There were so many possibilities on the sushi menu (photos were very helpful) and many we had never seen before. We asked our waiters for suggestions and ordered 3 different roles. They were all fantastic! Everything was so fresh and delicious. We will definitely come back. You have a happy hour of 4-530 where you can get half-format rolls for half price. So much special because they have a variety of roles. Great service and relaxing atmosphere. Definitely earned from 5 stars!

If the sushi is delicious because it is so fresh and melts in the mouth, it will keep you want more like this place. The sushi plate is just like the pictures from the menu. Prices are average, but not expensive. Other foods: The Rarmen is okay and the chicken catsu is very crispy and perfect. They made steak and made rice. Your Teriyaki bowl is also large. I'd eat for sushi again.

Happy hour is 2 for 1 half size. Instead of buying two 10 piece rolls, you can try 2 different rolls 5 pieces each and pay for one roll instead of two.

We haven?t been here since the pandemic and omg I forgot how good this place is!! In my opinion this is the best sushi in Chico. Tons to choose from, it?s fresh and the presentation they put into each plate just shows how much they want to please you.
