This review is specifically about Chico Locker Sausage and David Dewey. I've been a customer at Chico Locker for years, and each visit feels like reconnecting with old friends. While I love their meat, it’s the owners and employees that keep me coming back. It’s a traditional, personal touch—I know them by name, and they know me, too. I recently decided to make jerky in my smoker for the first time, so I reached out to Dave Dewey for advice. He was out of the office but encouraged me to call him—how great is that? Dave, who is probably the most knowledgeable meat expert in our area, took time out of his personal schedule to assist me. When I arrived, the cut we discussed was waiting for me, perfectly packaged. This is why I shop at Chico Locker: their meat quality is consistently excellent, but it's their exceptional people that truly make the difference. Thank you, Chico Locker! Without a doubt, this is my favorite spot in town for buying meat. I've never been let down by the quality of their products. Every time I pick up a tri-tip from here, everyone is impressed! The deli sandwiches are amazing too! I highly recommend giving this place your business!

I recently tried an incredibly delicious and tender tri-tip that I can't stop raving about. I bought a large marinated tri-tip and baked it in the oven, and it turned out so tender that it practically melted in my mouth. Everyone who tried it absolutely loved it! The potato salad was also excellent. Everything I've ever purchased from this place has been fresh and delicious!

This place is fantastic! They have been handling all my wild game and livestock for many years, and I've never been let down. It's also a great spot to grab lunch or pick up something for the grill at home. Highly recommended!

I was looking for a place to process the ham and bacon from a hog I plan to buy. After chatting with the team at Chico Locker, I felt confident enough to try some of their ham and bacon before making a commitment. I was really impressed with the flavor and quality, and I hope they can do just as well with my pig. I returned to sample some of their sausage, and let me tell you, it was among the best I've ever had. Their linguica is outstanding, and the bratwurst was just as good. I can't wait to try more of their sausages. On a whim, I decided to grab a few beef sticks, and wow, they hit another home run. Depending on how my hog turns out, I can see myself becoming a loyal customer.
