Chan Pheng's Mandarin Cuisine - Chico

This place is slightly better than Panda (which I find quite terrible). They add garlic to the chow mein, so if that sounds appealing to you, this might be a spot you'll enjoy; otherwise, I wouldn't bother trying it. Everything was fine, but none of the dishes felt genuinely authentic to Chinese cuisine. Most of the dishes lacked flavor, and the sauces were very diluted.

I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. The food was the best I've had in years. I enjoyed watching them cook in a spotless kitchen. The portion sizes were generous, and we even had leftovers to take home. Additionally, the prices are unbeatable—plenty of fantastic food at a great value!

My son and I just had the most incredible and enjoyable dining experience ever. The food was outstanding, and the hostess/server was extremely welcoming and kept us entertained with laughter. The kitchen was impressively clean, something we could see through the viewing window in the restaurant. Thank you for such a wonderful experience; we will definitely be returning soon!

The food here is excellent, and I had a wonderful experience. This is some of the best authentic Chinese cuisine I've had in Chico so far. Kudos to the chefs for the amazing dishes! I will definitely come back.

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in Chico. It's easy to select my favorite dishes, which are always fresh and delicious. While they have a significant take-out business, we love dining in because of the lovely atmosphere at Chan Pheng's. The crisp white tablecloths, simple decor, and friendly staff create a pleasant experience. Plus, the prices are fantastic!
