Valkyrie Coffee Roasters - Chester

This charming little town has an amazing coffee shop. We only tried the coffee, but it was clear that it was freshly roasted and brewed to perfection from the very first sip. The atmosphere was cozy and the server was friendly. We will definitely be returning if we are in the area again.

I recently discovered this hidden gem! The restaurant is incredibly cozy with a good amount of seating despite its smaller size. What sets this place apart is their unique offerings, such as house-made syrups and oatmilk. I tried their Monkey Business Iced Coffee, which was made with their house-made Korean banana oatmilk, and it was a delightful and fun drink. They also offer a selection of pastries available for purchase, with many options being dairy-free, gluten-free, and vegan. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for either classic coffee or something a bit more adventurous in a peaceful atmosphere.

Absolutely adorable coffee shop; great place to stop over if you're doing an upstate trip. Coffee was good was a bit bitter.

I go out of my way to stop by Valkyrie every time I’m in the area! Dakota the crew really care about the drinks they make, and the cafe is so welcoming when you need somewhere to park for some coffee shop work. (You’ll laugh out loud at the WiFi password! There is as much thought put into their drinks menu as a high end cocktail bar puts in theirs do not skip their seasonal drinks!Grab a bag of beans on your way out. Delicious carefully roasted single origin coffee for every palate.
