The Fox Inn - Cherwell

This was a special anniversary dinner, and despite hearing some mixed reviews from friends, we decided to give it a try. The ambiance and décor were impressive, but the service, food quality, and seating comfort left much to be desired. The bench seating was uncomfortably high compared to the table height, making it difficult to relax. While the appetizers were delicious, the main dishes were a disappointment. As a fan of authentic Thai cuisine, I was let down by the heavy, thick sauces that lacked the subtle flavors I was hoping for. My fish main dish was served as beef, drinks were forgotten, and the tables were too close together, making it hard to have a private conversation. The Fox restaurant has great potential with its lovely setting, friendly but overwhelmed staff, and reasonable prices. It's a shame they fell short of delivering on their promise.

The food and service at this restaurant are outstanding. The ambiance is incredible, and I highly recommend it. It's superb.

I had another enjoyable evening at The Fox, where the food was delicious and portions were generous. The Thai cuisine is flavorful, and I appreciated being able to customize the level of spiciness in my dish.

I have made an evaluation for this restaurant, but have it on the hotel review and cant remove it. everything here was superb in every sight worth finding everything excellent

We rely on the fox inn and hoped to get a snack. it was the paradies, the best pub I've been visiting for a long time, suggesting that we had no time to stop longer. right next to the m40 we didn't want to. to stop the bicester services, so a track went down a short distance and found the fox on a small track. what a waste. the renter welcomed us in and was friendly and helpful. the snack we had was delicious and well cooked. the pub soldiers let us feel at home, such a scandal that we live 150 miles away. lunch is highly recommended, but they need to look for the pub.
