Typical old style village pub. Excellent and well kept ales

Great vibe. Good Sunday lunch. Even offered to help fix my TVR! Recommended.
The beer, food and service are all excellent at this pub. But the landlady is what makes this place exceptional. She is like the lovechild of Ray Mears and Q from James Bond. On the occasion that I visited the Bull, I witnessed her fix a broken child's buggy with twigs and duct tape and perform minor medical procedures on a child. If carlsberg did landlady's, she would be it.
