Scala - Chemnitz

We visited the restaurant during a trip through Germany. we were in the hotel above the restaurant and were too tired to find another place. the menu was rich and the food was good. the service was also friendly and efficient. Everything was good.

Food is in order, the prices are not. but the best part is the whiskey diner is good. whiskey is in the rule no thing in Germany, but in this restaurant the collection is really worth seeing

Eating is not bad at all, but the prices are quite steep for the quality provided. also they close on Sunday evening dinner, which is not helpful.

Although very small the menu contains excellent dishes designed and executed error-free, but also balanced in classic sense. regional weine of very good taste and a very beautiful hall remind of the old socialist times magnificent complete the setting of an evening in la. scala big steaks! when in chemnitz a visit worth

We arrived on a Saturday around 6-ish to stay until the following Friday for business. Neither my partner or I speak German and would not have had time to learn before we were deployed to Chemnitz. Kessy, Mark and Jenz were so very welcoming and...helpful during our entire stay! they would always greet us and chat with us as they had time asking how our day was and if we needed anything or had any plans. I have to admit that it was hard to leave only because of them. We have stayed in many places for weeks at time and have never felt as welcome as we did at the Scala! We enjoyed all the food we ordered and the breakfast buffet was far better than anywhere we have stayed with fresh fruits, meats, cheeses, eggs, bacon, sausage, yogurts cereals, nuts, jams, etc... I just can't praise enough to truly help you understand how great our experience was!
