Mountain View Cafe - Chase

Food here was excellent. Better tasting than most other Chinese Food. Original dishes that are excellent. Decor is retro, staff is friendly and prices are great. Have been many times and never disappointed.

The Mountain View Café first of all does not have a good view. The décor needs some refreshing. There never seems to be anyone there so I don't know how they stay in business. The food was passable, they are friendly, but we were the only ones there. But they have been there a long time so maybe they have a good takeout?

The place is running down, from restaurant itself to the food, very few choices and not very good prepared, taste is awful. Cleanness is very concerning, bathroom is not useable. Not sure why the owner is not keeping the place up. We were the only customer for the hour. Will not go back.

I live in Chase and would not eat here at all, I have tried it several times and the quality of the food was worse than food court. the picture posted on this site is misleading, This is a run down establishment. I don't believe that the picture on this website is food that came from the Mountain View Cafe. The rice I had was crunchy, like it was from left overs, and the whole meal was mushed together, my Wor Won Ton consisted of wontons, in water, (couldn't call it broth) some celery, carrot and one piece of a baby corn. Worst asian food I ever ate.Oh don't forget cash only, a dingy run down atmosphere, and not friendly at all. I don't know how they stay open.

Expensive but was good. It was a very large chicken wrap.
