Typical diner experience. Restaurant seems clean. Food is hot and fresh. Atmosphere is pretty no frills. Glad I tried it!

How in the name of the patron saint of food does this place get such high ratings? This was on my local favorites places to eat list but now is at the top of my Never underestimate the poor taste of the American public list. Maybe all the glowing reviews came from family, friends, neighbors, people that think having old musty stuffed animal heads is appetizing I will never know. The service was great but everything else was weird, bad and sad. I ordered the Loose Moose Burger burger, chili, pepper jack cheese and jalapeño peppers. My burger was as dry and tasteless as the mangy stuffed opossum that sits in a glass case at the entrance. I was hoping maybe the chili would save the hockey puck burger but there was only about a dime sized amount of chile tucked under the cheese and somehow even the chili was dry! I desperately searched the plate for the pickle that was promised on the menu but it was nowhere to be found. The fries were good though. Anyway, they have a huge customer base so they can continue serving this cheap concession stand fare without needing to do better. The food is terrible and that makes me sad.

Food was delicious. Our waitress was very attentive great overall experience.

To us finding this restaurant was a pleasant surprise. Good southern dishes and a cool place to visit. Our server did a good job. Must be a popular place for the locals because our server seemed to know the names of many of her customers. I had breakfast for lunch and my wife had the meat and vegetables.
