The Break - Charleston

I went to Alley or Kelley's and was extremely disappointed with the terrible customer service. I have never experienced anything like it before. The bartender mixed a chaser (red bull) and liqueur together without asking and got upset when I mentioned there was too much red bull. When I inquired about the manager, Alley (who was wearing a black shirt) told me that she disliked customers like me. The manager laughed and said she agreed. Eventually, Alley came out and rudely told us they were closing soon and wanted us to leave. I had a horrible drink and terrible service during my first visit to this bar. I will never return and will be posting reviews on all platforms. Later, they approached us to ask us to leave, claiming we were rude. This excuse was unacceptable, especially considering they had made a mistake with our order. No matter how tired I am at work, I would never be rude to customers, especially if the mistake was on our end.

The drinks are too strong. I've asked for a single, but it's always more than I expected. The staff smiles too much. And don't get me started on the constant "please" and "thank you." Everyone here is good-looking, which brings down my self-esteem. Can we tone it down a bit?

This is one of the best places I have ever been to. I visit this bar every week and have never received bad service from any of the staff. My go-to drink is a Red Bull and vodka, and I have never had any issues with how they mix it together. I will continue to patronize this establishment for as long as I live in Charleston.

The crew who works here is simply the best! cannot remember any of their names (allie or mayla, but they are always on their service. they have all in this business a long time, drinks were superb

Well alley or Kelly not sure is the *best* bartender I have ever had the pleasure of being served by, I am so grateful for them and their capability to remove the garbage from the bar so we can all have a safe and enjoyable experience. She was so quick, she was able to pour both my liquor and my mixer at the same time.
