Elements - Chapel Hill

The experience was good overall . Only we felt it off putting before venturing to the restaurant to have the front reception gentleman on Valentine’s Day and our Anniversary inform us on the phone when we called to confirm our reservation at 7:15pm that “ there is a hard Stop at 8pm” due to many bookings and tables needing to be made available , which would have given us literally under an hour to eat . Very odd as when we were having dinner and finished way after 8pm as the kitchen was backed up there were still a plethora of tables empty. We are guests from out of state and thought for the price that the restaurant would be more up to date and certainly more polished . It is suggested from one business owner to another to give your place an overhaul ie: white table clothes , new paint , new elegant lighting . The experience felt very much like a cafeteria. With a simple revamp you will get more bang for your buck. The environment needs to match the quality of the food and lastly uniformity with your front reception person no sneakers and perhaps a dinner jacket or an ironed shirt , elegance is essential for your establishment A crisp Black or White shirt is preferable for your bar person , not an wrinkled Hawaian shirt unless it’s the theme of an evening event and all on staff are a part of it . I’m hopeful this is helpful and useful information as we loved the food and our wait person Elena was prepared , has wonderful energy , and made our Valentine’s and our Anniversary sweet . The food at elements is always good. The wait staff is always friendly. When you go Valentine’s weekend I guess you have to expect it to be a bit noisy, but the tables have a good distance between them. It is on the expensive side, but I guess that’s to be expected. 

Great Valentine’s Day set menu. Food was delicious, varied and plenty of it. Main came out beautiful and piping hot. Service great. Highly recommended

A great meal, as always. Creative menu, efficient and responsive service, and a pleasant place in which to spend a Friday evening.

One of our favorite places to go. Bento box is always great and the prawns are amazing.
