Wehemia Ethiopian - Chamblee

Unfortunately, we were unable to be served at this restaurant because it wasn't open yet, even though it was supposed to open at 12 PM. We waited for 15 minutes, but no one showed up and there was no answer when we called. It was disappointing since we drove about 25 minutes to get there. Please update your hours if they are not accurate.

As for vegetarian options, from what I can tell, their veggie combo is vegan (no butter), but it's always a good idea to double-check with the restaurant to be sure.

One of my top recommendations is the Kikil, a lamb soup that's been simmering for hours, resulting in exceptionally rich flavors. Just a heads up, this dish is available only on Mondays and is served on a first-come, first-served basis. On any other day, some of my other favorites include the veggie combo, Lega Tibs, and the special kitfo, which is akin to beef tartare. You definitely won’t regret visiting this gem, and if you do, be sure to let them know Sara sent you!
