Happened to be working in the area and was in the mood for some tacos so decided to check this place out for lunch with a friend.

I had honestly no idea Taqueria Lupita existed until I searched on trusty ol' Yelp to try somewhere new for tacos.

I chose this restaurant based on its online reviews but but it did not live up to expectations. I brought my teenaged daughter there for lunch on a weekday. There was only one person working and he was completely disinterested in taking orders. Our food took half an hour to arrive while the gentleman tinkered about in the kitchen looking for things, as there was no evidence of prep work. The plates actually looked good but were absurdly spicy. My daughter and I generally order 5/5 stars for heat when there is an option but this was barely edible; it felt like we were being punished for interrupting the gentleman's break. The place was pretty dirty, as well. I'm not sure if this restaurant is better on weekends or for dinner, but my foodie daughter was shocked that I chose so poorly.
