Tailgators - Cedar Rapids

The only bar in Cedar Rapids that regularly hosts local heavy metal bands has become one of my favorites in the city!

The music was fantastic, but unfortunately, everything else fell short.

It's not my top pick, but it's still decent. The friendly staff and the back terrace create a nice atmosphere under the trees, if you catch my drift.

Super comfy spot, saw some old and and new local metal acts and was blown away by the quality music we have here in Cedar Rapids

Tailgaters is one of the few venues in Cedar Rapids that consistently brings in good musical acts. The bartenders are generally great. It can be hit-or-miss there have been times when I felt the service was a bit sub par. But that is the exception rather than the rule. The owner is there frequently and he likes to make sure a good time is had by all.
