Bidrage med feedbackLoved the atmosphere and along with the delicious food and drinks! The mango margarita was delicious and my girls loved the rice and naan (we are working up to curry ???? . My husband and I enjoyed the thali platter and an appetizer. Can?t wait to trymore things
Delicious! We'll go back for sure. The Thali platter allows you to sample a variety of dishes. My friend ordered chicken curry, my husband chicken kebab. We enjoyed it. Flavors ranged from smokey to curries with depth. Service was good even though theywere short-staffed. Negatives: The chicken in my curry was dry and hard. They skimp on rice, and I found the Naan to be cold andlimp. Medium heat means spicy (I like some heat). The mano margarita was too chunky for a blended drink. Floor under raised bedswas not very clean and booth seats are stained.
Absolutely overrated. The food was advertised as Indian street food, but a more fitting description would be "watered-down Indian cuisine." The servers seemed unfamiliar with the menu and couldn't explain the dishes to us. I had high hopes for this place, especially after driving an hour to get there, but it turned out to be a disappointment. The taste and flavor of the food were quite mediocre. My advice to the owners is to stick to authentic flavors.
We opted for the classic Butter Chicken and chicken Tikka kabobs. While we didn’t choose anything too adventurous this time (though we’re open to trying new dishes, as we enjoy diverse cuisines), I must say, out of all the Butter Chickens I've tasted (including homemade versions, as I keep a decent supply of Indian spices), this one stands out as my favorite. They use more tomatoes than is typical, which adds a richer, more complex flavor. Normally, I don’t order Butter Chicken because I prefer to explore different dishes, but this is one I would gladly come back for. The Tikka kabobs were also delicious, and they paired perfectly with the mint chutney, which was just right. My only suggestion would be to consider offering more dark meat for the kabobs, as that’s what I personally prefer. Also, I would love to see more onions! The naan was good, and the rice was nicely done. The mango lassi was excellent as well. Lastly, I appreciated the effort put into the restaurant's atmosphere. There were some decorations, and actual Indian music was playing—it really makes a difference! We will definitely be returning. The service was good too; I hope they continue to maintain that quality. Many places are hit or miss, so I hope they keep up the great work!
Overall, the food was amazing. The rice was a bit overcooked, but still enjoyable. We ordered the kebab platter and opted for the extra sharing plate, but what we received was much smaller than what was shown in the picture. The portion sizes were quite limited and didn't justify the hefty $23 price tag for chicken, rice, and salad. While the food was delicious, it felt overpriced for the small portions.
