Vue - Carlsbad

I hadn’t noticed this restaurant before and didn’t have any prior knowledge about it. We were just looking for a place to eat without having to drive far, so we decided to give it a shot. I'm really glad we did! Everything we ordered was delicious and beautifully presented. The short ribs were absolutely amazing. I would love to return if I'm in the area again.

We had a fantastic experience at VUE during a conference I attended in late March 2018. The staff was incredibly friendly, and our waiter was very helpful in suggesting dishes. I opted for the short-braised rib, while my wife chose the flank steak. Our children enjoyed a burger and a breakfast sandwich, all of which were delicious. I also treated myself to a craft IPA from their selection. Unfortunately, we were too full for dessert. We dined outside and reveled in the beautiful view. We will certainly return to VUE on our next visit to the Omni La Costa.

I visited for Sunday breakfast, and everything was outstanding. The service was the best I've experienced in a long time. The food was excellent—the blueberry pancakes were delicious, the bacon was cooked perfectly, and the cappuccino was spot on. The French toast also received high praise. While the prices are a bit higher, we all felt that the quality made the extra dollar or two per plate well worth it. Make sure to request a table on the patio; the views are incredible, and the heaters do a fantastic job! I will definitely be coming back.

Although it is a little pricey the food is good. We had the paella, ahi tacos, and street corn!

Absolutely delicious breakfast. Eggs Rancheros are SO good.
