The employees are always beautiful here, really attentive and the lower without brunch is really good value for money. we're here a few times and will definitely come back.

After reading the reviews, I can say that I was a bit comprehending, but our experience was wonderful. our host, kirstie, was wonderful. she was attentive, chatting and simply lovely. she made sure we had always drinks (we made groundless brunch) and we were okay. Our foods were fast and delicious. overall it was amazing. the only thing I could suggest is to use steak knives with steak and iron, but that is inferior! kirstie made the whole a great, personal experience. thank you! we're coming back!

I would certainly recommend The Spider and Fly. We had a family meal here before Christmas, of us really enjoyed it, the service was fantastic. Lots of different dietary requirements but they weren’t fazed at all, and delivered a wonderful meal fast and hot!...Today I revisited with friends for bottomless brunch and again, wow really enjoyed it, fantastic value for money and the service was excellent. For a Wednesday afternoon in January it had a lovely atmosphere but wasn’t too busy. The full English breakfast was really tasty and we never waited for a drink. The two gentlemen serving came over as soon as one drink was close to the bottom too take the next order. Definitely recommend! Well done, and thank you for providing a great eatery so handy for parking and so close to the centre of town!

It was a bit worried after the last reviews, but wanted to be fair. wow and wow again. boozy brunch was totally amazing for all of us. starter of moimosa, brioche, butter and preserve. haupt was a massive, delicious fry-up, with plenty of cocktails and...Proscecco absolute bargain, for per head. we have loved it completely and intend to repeat it monthly. the personal was friendly and funny. all in all, gross mothers day. many thanks.

After we visited numerous meals in this restaurant before covid lockdown etc. we visited again and what a disappointment. the service was in fact very bad, very hit and miss, ordered drinks and some of the listed drinks were not available, not the end. the world, but if they don't have them, do they take them out of the list? the food for all of us was as I say very subduing, I guess it was quite expensive, but they still have an expectation, the clobig chips were barely edible and the burger I had left a lot to wish that was dear to detail definitiw lacked. I know it's much better in carlisle. I hope they improve as such, as it was worth visiting.
