Penylins Wee Irish Cafe - Carlisle

I had a great time when Penylins hosted an open mic night. They offered a free beer for performers and provided sandwiches at intermission. The atmosphere was very friendly and had a real cozy feel. I definitely want to return and try their food.

This cafe is shut. It is no more open, Doesnt look as if it's been trading for a long time, so don't waste yours by walking down to see if it's selling food

A truly memorable treat, Penylins Ulster Fry takes some beating. This is a little gem of a cafe where nothing seems to much trouble.

Very welcoming when entering cafe, cakes all excellent especially the lemon merangue , liqueur coffee also lovely

This is a wee gem of a place and the Ulster Fry Breakfast as said is to die for. The owner is very friendly and makes you welcome as if you were one of the family. Highly recommend the Breakfasts
