Boutin's Cajun Seafood Steakhouse Oyster

I ordered the whole oyster po-boy, and I was really disappointed. The oysters were about the size of a small pea and covered in so much batter that they looked bigger than they actually were. They were also slightly burnt, the lettuce was wilted, and there was just a small slice of tomato. I paid $21 for a tiny cup of gumbo that had only 4 crawfish tails and 2 shrimp in it. Plus, the gumbo was extremely spicy! I will absolutely never order from this restaurant again; the food is terrible! I even contacted DoorDash to get a refund. I recommend going the extra mile to Fiery Crabs, where you’ll actually get quality food!

I was quite disappointed to see staff members smoking near the entrance of the restaurant. Additionally, my pasta was overly salty, and the chicken was dry and lacked flavor.

The wait was 45 minutes long and once the food was brought to the table it was cold. We drove from New Iberia thinking that we would have a good dining experience but that wasn't the case. The waitress kept apologizing and then said we should come to her house and eat because she can cook way better. The fried potatoes were extremely salty and the fried oysters tasted like they were going bad. I didn't want to believe the 3.9 rating review but that is generous considering the poor quality of the food there!!!!!

I was wowed last night for dinner. I had a lemondrop martini, seafood wonton and the crabmeat augratin. I really enjoyed them all. Best augratin I have had in a long time! Service was great! Will be back soon!
