Silvio's Trattoria E Pizzeria - Canton

I went to a restaurant on Saturday to listen to live music and enjoy the best pizza. The crust was thin and crispy, the sauce was not from a can, and the homemade sausage was delicious. The addition of free live music and a great atmosphere made for a fantastic Saturday evening in Canton. Also, I had a cocktail, a negroni made with high-quality alcohol and a generous pour!

Kanton is a hidden gem. Its secluded location adds to its mystery, but it is definitely a place worth discovering. The menu is unlike any other, with a variety of dishes that I have yet to dislike. The restaurant has plenty of outdoor seating available.

I have ordered from Silvio's three times in the last few weeks (twice in person, once for delivery). They have potential, but it seems like there is a lack of quality control. The first time we dined in, the food ranged from okay to great (the burger was superb). The second visit was excellent, no issues, a friendly server, and the food was fantastic (the burger was great for the second time and the alfredo was delicious). We started to think that this could be our go-to place. However, the third visit made us question why we came back. This time we ordered for delivery, but some items were not listed online so I had to call instead. The order was not ready within the specified time frame (not a big issue at first). Everything (except the burger) was reasonably priced. I had to reheat the pizza as it was cold and seemed undercooked. We waited an extra long time for cold food. The dessert was frozen solid, for unknown reasons, and thrown into the container with plastic wrapping (not a frozen dessert). The restaurant's elements have not yet been consistently cohesive, making it hard to trust that we will have a similar experience each time. It is disappointing. Update: I spoke to the manager today and had a pleasant conversation. She provided insight into the issues that led to our recent experiences and was very gracious about my feedback. She took the time to listen and assured me that the problems will be handled. I felt heard and have a better understanding of what happened that night. I am now confident to return and experience the level of quality we had during our second visit.

Enjoyed my entire experience at Silvio's. Phil helped my friends and I out today, 9 of us. He was very pleasant and attentive. He made great suggestions and the food was delicious as well. Happy hour, 3-6, was nice as well. Selections of beer and wine with appetizers $2.00 off/each. Will hopefully have the opportunity to come back!! Highly recommended.
