The Old Gate Inn - Canterbury

I booked on Sunday morning about her app to arrive and for her not even have my booking on her system. I showed my confirmation for the staff and didn't even get an apology!

The place and the eating itself are good and we will return. but do not book it through an open table. the personal was not even aware of what it was and our booking had changed from the people who showed on the app to the people on their anti-booking system. Nevertheless they were very good and worked hard to accommodate us with nice service. in future I will book directly by phone.

A beautiful place for Sunday lunch nothing negatiw to say eating was fabulous and much of it. personal incredibly helpful

Lovely food. I like the Vintage inn chain. You know what you are getting but it doesn't feel like a big chain . We enjoyed a camembert to share and ham hock. The coconut milk sorbet was lovely and huge to . We ate there before a concert at the cricket ground . Much tastier and good value.

All fine with food, service etc, however when we got there they didn't have our opentable booking on the system. Managed to fit us in but as we were a large group (with young children) we were lucky they could!
