We were very disappointed with the food. Also we needed more time in between courses, which we did ask for and accommodation was made.

Was not aware of the Alberta Covid passport requirements to dine as I had travelled in from BC, when confirming my reservation, I was not informed of these new requirements. On arrival at the restaurant were turned away as both myself and one of my guests had not brought proof of vaccination. This was a complete failing on the part of the resort not to confirm this with us when booking, I expressed this to the waitress. I was very embarrassed as this was a special treat for my guests. We confirmed with the waitress that we could be accommodated in one hour and went away to acquire the required proof of vaccination. On our return the waitress then said she needed proof of ID, one of my guests had not brought any with her. I confronted the waitress about her lack of information regarding that we would also need to provide this evidence, she retorted well I thought you read the paper on the side board' Following this, the meal was mediocre for the price, when asked if the meal was ok? I told her my Arancini was dry and bland she did not respond. I was not in the mood to confront the waitress nor mention the salad dressing was poor and the salmon was under cooked The whole evening was a disaster our reception had completely spoilt the outing, the food was not of a quality I would have expected for the price I decided that I was not going to leave a tip as the food and professionalism was poor from beginning to end from the resort information, the quality of the food to the service When we left the waitress came running after us angrily shouting if we think we can just leave without leaving a tip', which ended with my guests having a full scale argument with her! The waitress then shouted that i have provided an Alberta proof of ID so I had lied to here about not knowing about the new regulations. At this point we left. I have been a resident of Silvertip for years and have frequented the resort many times. This will be my last!

Very good service and food. Great views of the mountains.
