Subway - Canaan

This restaurant appears to be relatively new, as there have been a high turnover of staff. Unfortunately, the employees don't seem to stay long, and there have been instances where someone with a bad attitude has served customers. There have also been issues with bread and meat not being readily available. In my most recent visit, I couldn't order a steak because they couldn't defrost enough meat. However, since my initial review, there have been improvements in their selection of bread and meat.

I visited this Subway during a busy time and Daniel was the only one working behind the counter while others were on break or hanging out by the fountain drinks. Despite being alone, Daniel was organized and professional, handling the line like a champ. Keep an eye on him, he would be a valuable asset to your company.

I work at another Subway and this one was a disgrace. I asked for LTO I got 3 shards of lettuce some left over onion and 2 rock hard tomato’s. The bread was undercooked. They put chocolate on a oatmeal cookie which was meant for the s’more cookie so obviously someone is blind. They weren’t busy at all. The sandwich didn’t have a sticker and wasn’t wrapped correctly just thrown in the bag. Everyone was polite though so that’s good HAHA

Zach Van Wheren is an amazing worker and deserves a raise! He was hilarious and made it soo much fun for us! Thank you for bringing faith into humanity for good people!

The last 5 times I’ve stopped they had no bread except white. None at all! I can’t imagine how a sandwich shop can be consistently out of bread. Seems like this place needs new management and workers who take responsibility for getting the job done. I live nearby, but won’t be going back.
