We made a stop in Canaan on our way to Great Barrington, and we couldn't be happier that we did. We had a fantastic dinner! I ordered the pappardelle with slow-cooked short rib ragu, and it was absolutely delightful—homemade pasta with a perfect sauce. D. enjoyed a delicious salad followed by a chicken burrito that he couldn't stop raving about. We finished off our meal with a brownie in the car, which was so incredible it was hard to share. When we arrived in Great Barrington, we saw all the trendy little restaurants, but we have no regrets about choosing Blackberry River Bistro. It was outstanding!

I wasn't satisfied with the food I had. I ordered the 'green wings,' but they tasted like they were just deep-fried and then soaked in plain green Tabasco sauce. The items sell out quickly, and the wait time for my order was quite long—over 45 minutes. To be fair, this experience was back in 2022. However, I haven't returned since then.
