The Deckhouse Crab Shack

For starters, we shared the popcorn shrimp, which was incredible, and the corndog-style chili poppers that had a delicious twist. I ordered the calamari and prawn combo, and let me tell you, the prawns were enormous and incredibly fresh and sweet. The calamari was tender and tasty as well! My boyfriend chose the mussel pot, which came with a corn on the cob and some fantastic cornbread that was fresh and indulgent. However, the real highlight for him was the new menu addition: the lobster tail mac and cheese. It was pure bliss on a plate—rich and absolutely amazing. You have to order this! The service was friendly and attentive throughout our meal. I can't wait to return!

This restaurant is absolutely incredible! It's definitely a must-visit! The seafood platter was exquisite and exceeded all my expectations. I wish I had discovered this place sooner! I plan to come here at least once a week now; I’ve found my new favorite spot in town! Thank you for the truly wonderful food and exceptional hospitality!

My new favorite spot in Cape Town, and I dine out at least 4 to 5 times a week. We ordered the 'Meat Me Halfway' platter for two, and everything, from the delicious crayfish to the chicken wings, was fantastic. They certainly don’t skimp on their portions—we even had to take some home. The setting, venue, and decor make you feel like you’re in a charming fishing village right by the beach. It was the best service and the best value for money that I've experienced in ages! Well done, everyone! I’ll definitely be back to try more of your menu.

What a lovely hidden spot on Kloof. The crab was out of this world. And great service from our waiter, Max.

Awesome menu choices, service(zim hospitality! : , view and the food was excellent (king crab and Beef ribs wine, cocktails and beer were all crispy cold for a 32deg day! .... cant wait to go back soon....
