Bidrage med feedbackWithout a doubt, this is one of the best restaurants I've experienced in Cape Town, especially regarding the quality of the food and its presentation. The food selection was good (not exceptional, but certainly good), and the wine menu was also pleasing. Their desserts were impressive, and the cheesecake deserves special mention. However, I was let down by the service. While the staff was always friendly, the wait for our food was frustrating, with an average of 25 to 30 minutes between courses. This was the most disappointing aspect of my visit, and I would advise against dining here if you're in a hurry.
The atmosphere and service are very relaxed near Groot Constantia. The food is excellent; I had the fillet steak, and the cognac pepper sauce was the highlight of the dish. The chicken curry looked fantastic and came in a generous portion. Next time, I'll definitely return to try the kudu loin.
This is our third visit, and once again, the food is excellent. The ambiance of the restaurant is decent, but it could be improved. The waitstaff are well-informed about the menu and very friendly. I would definitely recommend it for more visits.
One of the nicest restaurants I've been to in Cape Town. They have a good selection of wines in a beautiful setting in Constantia. During winter, the heaters were not working, the waiter brought blankets for all of us. Been there twice already and will definitely go there again!
Pastis is excellent. The food, wine list and surroundings are fantastic. I had a Kudu burger with a homemade chutney. The Cabernet Franc from High Constantia was also great. Really a nice, relaxing place.
