Chef’s Table

I haven't visited this place in a while, and I must say it's one of the few restaurants that consistently maintains excellent service and food quality. It makes me want to hop on a plane to South America again. I really appreciate the tapas-style options because they allow us to sample a wide variety of dishes. As usual, we find ourselves glancing over at the next table to create a wish list for our next visit. I wish I had a bigger appetite to indulge in everything on the menu. If you're unsure about what to order, the waiter or host is more than happy to provide recommendations for wine and food. However, their suggestions may only complicate your choices further, as everything sounds incredibly tempting, leaving you eager to try it all!

What an incredible dinner experience! This is one of the best tapas restaurants in Cape Town, and it's a must-try for anyone visiting who loves Spanish cuisine. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate, and the service is excellent and prompt. The highlights of our meal were the tuna belly, bistro solomillo (beef), and seared trout. However, we weren't as fond of the croquetas, as they didn't resemble those from Spain—the potatoes and ingredients weren't blended enough. Overall, it was a fantastic dinner, and I would definitely return!

Our favorite dining experience in Cape Town was absolutely fantastic. Every small plate we tried was excellent, but we particularly loved the cauliflower risotto and the oysters. The service was laid-back, with no rush to clear our table, and the atmosphere was casual and welcoming. Overall, it offered great value for money considering the high quality of the food and the delightful experience. Just a heads up, they have a set menu, but you can choose to add starters like the oysters and dessert. They don’t take reservations, but we arrived early on a Friday around 5 PM and were seated right away. It would have been worth waiting for if needed.

Excellent experience. Got a table after an hour wait. You can wait at a nearby bar and they will call you. Service was so good, and pretty much all of the dishes in the set menu gave us a new taste experience. Good wine recommendations and pleasant atmosphere. Definitely recommended. Only downside was that our table was way too small...

I went there around 5 PM and they served only tapas. It was great as I get to choose 4 out of 6 or 7 available dishes and taste a bit of everything! All dishes were very delicious, and I added a dessert which was the highlight white chocolate and yogurt pana cotta with strawberry sorbet was just incredible. Very pleasant dining experience thanks to the attentive staff and casual atmosphere.
