East Side Mario's - Cambridge

I hadn’t been to an East Side’s in quite some time, and it was a great experience! Our server was on point and quick with the bread, drinks and salad and she checked on us often to make sure everything was good. The drinks and food were hot, fresh and delicious! I had a sangria and the gluten friendly cauliflower pizza, and my fiancé had beer and pasta. They had great service. We were seated right away, everyone was friendly and the place was really clean. We will definitely be back!

Now that the Restaurant is under new ownership, I decided to give it another shot. Even though it had only been a week, I already saw a difference. Staff were very pleasant and were on time for our drinks and food! Our waiter always ensured we had drinks/salad/bread and checked on us frequently to ensure everything was how we wanted it! I would highly recommend going back for those who had a bad experience in the past!!

That said, the food is consistently excellent. I'm a big fan of their shrimp fettuccine Alfredo, Caesar salad, and cheese cappelletti. For dessert, you absolutely have to try the bada-bingers; they are truly amazing! Even though the servers enjoy chatting, you can still get in and out in under 40 minutes if you visit between 11 AM to 12 PM, 2 PM to 4 PM, or after 8 PM, making it a great spot for a quick meal. The staff is also very friendly with kids, giving the place a warm and inviting atmosphere.

The service was outstanding, and the food lived up to its usual high standard. Our server thoughtfully divided the pasta dish we ordered into two plates, which was a nice touch. The drinks we had were also quite enjoyable.

I was initially hesitant to visit an east side restaurant again because I've had numerous negative experiences with their customer service in the past. The only thing that kept bringing me back was the all-you-can-eat bread and salad. However, after some time, I decided to give it another shot last night, and it turned out to be fantastic! Our food arrived quickly, and our server, who I believe was named Erica, was incredibly friendly. She consistently checked in on us to ensure we were satisfied and had everything we needed. The food was piping hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious! I particularly loved the linguine chicken amatriciana, which I order every time, while my boyfriend had the scallop carbonara. We were both very happy with our meals.
