Violette Gluten Free Bakery - Cambridge

I was really excited to find a local bakery where everything was marked and there were many vegan options! both online and their filiale have labels, but dairy free (df) does not mean any milk, so they are looking for the vegan labels especially when they are vegan. a tonne of their baked goods have DF options, so if they have a milk allergy or eat eggs, but not milk, almost everything is accessible! we ordered a handful of dinge for christmas a take and bake potcakes (that we were completely baked, oops), some rosmarin sourd rolls that were a little dry, and some absolutely excellent and damp cupcakes. Overall, eating was delicious and not too expensive when you look at two special diets plus city prices.

Delicious breads with fruit in them (have tried peach, berry), bought for a family member with celiac but enjoyed by everyone!

Outstanding gluten-free (and often dairy-free or vegan) baked treats. Particularly noteworthy are the donuts (offered as a monthly special), the orange almond cake, and the French apple cake.

Just picked up some dairy free and vegan cupcakes for a friends birthday and they were a massive hit. Coming from a non-allergen girl I had low hopes for vegan cupcakes but everyone in the group loved them. I appreciate that this was the only bakery around that had thoughtful creative cake flavors for a wide range of specific allergen cakes, not just the usual chocolate and vanilla. Highly recommend!

Their sourdough bread is amazing! Their cakes and cupcakes are too!! Very thankful for this gem of a place that cares and caters to folks with food sensitivities and such
