Freda's Pizza - Camarillo

I travel frequently for work—I've taken 66 flights this year alone—and one of my favorite things to do on my journeys is sample pizza from various places. Freda’s stands out at the top of my list. Although I’m not usually a big fan of specialty pizzas, their offerings are quite good, but the classic Pepperoni and Margherita are truly exceptional. The dough is expertly tossed and perfectly cooked, featuring a delightful char on the crust that strikes the right balance between soft bread and a satisfying crunch. I never feel the need to seek out other options when I’m in the area because this place provides everything I could want in a pizza. Plus, they have an attached brewery that serves a decent hazy and a really great pilsner, which is an added bonus!

I’m writing this review primarily to highlight how outstanding Jacob was. My friend and I decided to visit Freda’s, and we were blown away not only by the food but especially by Jacob’s exceptional service. He truly excels at his job and went above and beyond to ensure we were completely satisfied. Seriously, the food was incredible, and Jacob’s service made the experience even better.

I had to wait 45 minutes for a pizza that was badly burnt! Considering the prices on the menu, I would have expected some ranch to be included, but it seems that's an extra cost as well.

Terrible service. I have never left a bad review anywhere before. We come here because my family loves the food but we have continuously been let down by the slow service, issues with the order, and unprofessional service at the counter.
