Azzurri Pizzeria - Calgary

When in Calgary and you have a craving for thin crust you have to go here. Get a seat facing the oven if you can and enjoy the professional dough tossing. Interested in trying something new? Try the Tonno Cappolino (yellow fin tuna and carmelized...onions),very nice.

Stopped by on a Friday night to get some pizza for the family and was spoiled by the food and service. First up was a recommendation for meatballs and a glass of red wine. It was the right amount of heat, crispy perfectly cooked meat...and the wine was sublime. The pizza was thin crust and authentic Italian pizza. You have to try this place. My only wish is that I lived closer but we will be back!!
